I get the feeling some people still think there are different colors of people....

Until egoism is eradicated, all such efforts can/must/will devolve into “shouting past each other”, “parroting talking points”, and all other manner of divides, because egoism is fundamentally division – i.e. between “I” and “not-I” – and thus cannot manifest as other than division (although it's pretty talented at faux non-division for its own division-rooted benefit).
