Yes, that precludes the execution of any Javascript present in the html payload or linked to it. But since the main purposes of Javascript seem to be (1) endowing bright, shiny objects with bell and/or whistle superpowers and (2) delivering possible (I say likely) snoopery and/or malicious intent to the very threshold of your private, personal device, I'm plenty fine “missing out” on the, for me, bedazzling “shit show”.
